Lots of walking
23.10.2011 32 °C
The weather has been great. A little windy but that keeps the temp down a little....its only 32 degrees. Had an interesting dinner last night with barramundi spring rolls with fetta and coriander as an entree and then cajun chicken. The restaurant overlooked the water and was very busy. Tonight we'll slum it at the Seaview Hotel beer garden to watch the world cup final.
The Jupiter's casino has a rapper performing and its loud as....It will be finishing around 10.30 tonight so best we stay away.
Had a very long walk early today along the foreshore to Kissing Point and then back into the mall for breakfast. The "cotters markets" were on at the mall and they are very popular with lots of local produce, art and crafts. Ellie would have loved the batik and jewellery. This afternoon we're relaxing at the Coffee Club on the Strand enjoying the people walking by.
It's a very busy place after 4pm in the cool of the afternoon with lots of families down enjoying the parkland and activities. This morning the local 2 surf life saving clubs had nippers events on and there would have been at least 150 kids. Amazing not a ripple in sight with respect of surf and doubt whether there is ever outside of a force 3 cyclone.
